Our Pastry Room
Our pastry room at 39 Tyrwhitt Road is where everything on this page begins. There is a giant dough sheeter for rolling our pastry fresh, and deck ovens that bake in small batches through the day.
Every pastry is baked in-house, and no pie is kept overnight. Our kiosks are stocked from this one kitchen, so a pie bought at Wisma Atria on Orchard Road was baked in Jalan Besar.
One Pie, a Full Counter
It started with a new pastry every day at the Hewlett-Packard staff cafeteria, and one of them, in 1983, was the chicken pie. Around it the counter has filled up:
- black pepper, curry, creamy chicken, beef and apple pies;
- a cheesecake that takes two days;
- kueh lapis made layer by layer, and a rich cake for whisky lovers;
- an egg tart sized to be taken seriously.
Seasonal bakes come and go: a Moon Pie and handmade mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, and specials made only for our Tiong Bahru Plaza kiosk inside DON DON DONKI.

Personal pies feed one, and Whole pies serve 4 to 6. Pies and cakes are at every one of our outlets, for pickup or islandwide delivery, and our Personal Party Favourite box lets you mix and match for a crowd.
