The food is value for money. For the lala and prawn white bee hoon, the ingredients are fresh and the soup is very flavourful without being oily and heavy. The chicken pie is as good as ever. For the cheese cake slice, I like the hard base. Its size, level of sweetness and richness are just nice for me. It is enjoyment minus the guilt and a nice way to round off a good, light meal.
For takeaway food, sturdy cardboard boxes are used for the pie and cake while hot items are nicely packed. Service is friendly too.
I appreciate the cleanliness and the effort put into the decor: from the teal colour used in the eatery and cutlery, to the big round copper-coloured wash basin in the washroom.

Our must-order here would be their Lala seafood soup Beehoon which blew us away for the rich and delicious broth that sure was intense in flavour. Loved every bit of the generous portion of ingredients packed into the bowl, especially the big and fresh prawns.

We went back twice in the span of 10 days! Came for the pies but returned for the seafood noodle soup. The broth is full of umami, they are also generous with ingredients 🦐…checking all boxes when it comes to a bowl of comforting soup. Seats are limited so recommend to call in advanced. So happy we found this place, will be recommending this to our friends and family 🤗

Last minute decided to try this as we lost our way to another place. A comfortable small restaurant with very cozy design. Menu mainly serves pie, bee hoon and some traditional cakes.. Quite an usual combination but not an issue at all. The bee hoon portion is big and meant to be shared even for regular. I am not a pie person so my favourite there is white bee hoon with Prawn (forgot to take that photo.. Hah) . The soup is very rich.

A very delightful serving of white beehoon with the tasty broth and chunks of prawns and lala at a very affordable and more than reasonable price! The chicken pies (and Shepherd) are great as well, so much ingredients inside that give you satisfaction to every mouth and cut of the pie.

I ordered the lala and prawn mee hoon (medium) and black pepper prawn and scallop mee hoon (regular) for 3 pax. The lala and prawn mee hoon was good except too saltish for our taste. But the black pepper prawn and scallop mee hoon was too sweet.
I ordered the signature chicken pie as takeaway for a friend, as I like their chicken pie and have been buying since they first started.

my family and i have been here on multiple occasions and have also ordered takeaway because their signature lala&prawn bee hoon is just too good. the broth is so savoury and full of flavour, it’s going to hit you right on your taste buds. we also had their crab bee hoon soup, which was also really tasty and i must say their seafood is always so fresh. it is a must try.
i would also like to add that their pies – chicken pie, shepherd pie and apple pie, are all *chef’s kisses*, it’s really worth a try.

Good value for money place. For ard $14 you have a gigantic portion of SEAFOOD! Hardly anywhere in Singapore you can find this amount of seafood for that price.

Easily the best Lala Prawn Beehoon I’ve ever tasted because there is no other prawn Beehoon better than this!
The chili crab is also very tasty eaten with fried mantao.
And we spent less than $100 for four people with two craft beer between us. The medium size portion was big enough to share with more than four people. We officially experienced food coma after our dinner. Definitely will go again!

Love the lala prawn beehoon and the beehoon soup (thick beehoon). Super flavourful. Clams are also big and juicy. Most of all there are some seatings where pets are allowed. But do make sure to book in advance especially if bring the fur babies. Plus the staff are super friendly.

Great service and cozy interior. Had the laksa and lala beehoon, black pepper chicken pie and shepherd pie. Generous portions of seafood in the main, can share. Pie was also delicious! Recommended 🙂

Don’s pies go way back to my school days but their standard really dropped after it got franchised out. I stopped eating them for quite a long time and was pleasantly surprised that the Chef restarted making the OG version himself again.
They’re now delicious again with that generous moreish filling and buttery pastry.
I come here more often for my seafood beehoon fix because it’s the only place out of home where the recipe contains a healthy serving of hua tiao, just how I love it. The gravy really tastes home made and has great depth of flavour without being overseasoned.
Their seafood is always fresh and the scallops in particular are perfectly done, with the roe being soft and succulent.
Price is really reasonable too.
My only gripe is that the joint is a bit squeezy and not too good for groups any larger than 4.

Very tasty lala bee hoon soup.
I’ve tried the crab version too, but much prefer the former. The broth of crab version tasted too much of generic seafood for my liking.
The pies are pretty good too, but they smell strongly of either butter or margarine.
